THE BIGGER PICTURE
The Herons' tournament on Friday started strong, as they drew group winners Real Sociedad 0-0. However, to advance, they needed to concede less than two goals against Barcelona.
The event, held at ESPN's Wide World of Sports in Orlando, saw the South Florida side exit early unexpectedly. The competition itself had 20 U12 teams from around the world travel to the complex to compete, handing the young footballers a platform to compete on.
