THE BIGGER PICTURE
Vinicius, too, on a few occasions looked back at the gallery and gave a wry smile – acknowledging the stick from the crowd. But when he finally beat Alex Remiro from the spot, the forward ran towards the corner flag with a "shoosh" gesture in an attempt to silence the fans.

WHAT MIJATOVIC SAID
Mijatovic was not pleased with Vinicius' goal celebration and in an interview with , said: "He’s throwing stones at his own roof. He’s throwing stones, especially knowing everything that’s going on around him. He should take this step, calm down a little. We were very happy with the goal, but then we were very disappointed with the celebration. Why does he need this? He’s doing himself a lot of harm. I speak to many Real Madrid fans who love him, but we’re all upset with his behaviour."
